manufacturer's WARRANTY

TukTuk warrants its new boards for one (1) year to be free from defects in workmanship or materials, starting from the original purchase date.  This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser (it is non-transferable to a subsequent owner); the original receipt must be submitted for approval.  At TukTuk’s sole discretion, if the board is found to be defective due to workmanship or materials, TukTuk will provide repair, or on occasions, replacement, of the board.

 

TukTuk is not responsible for damage, dings, or breakage caused by misuse, impacts, or accidents, as well as normal wear and tear, including, but not limited to, damage or delamination due to excessive heat or sun exposure when not in the water, improper storage, damage from watercraft, pressure dings, or exposure to chemicals that can adversely affect the epoxy construction of the board, including, but not limited to, acetone, polyester, gasoline, or any other material that may react to epoxy surfboards, causing damage.  TukTuk is not responsible for loss or damages relating to the use of the product.  Only defects in workmanship or materials are covered.  No blems, closeouts, or demo boards are covered under this warranty as they are sold as-is.

 

The warranty is valid only when used in normal watersport activities, and does not cover products used in a rental or instructional business or setting.  The warranty does not cover boards that have been modified, changed, or repaired without authorization from TukTuk.  Any repairs covered under this warranty must receive prior approval and be performed by TukTuk or at a TukTuk authorized repair center.

 

If you believe you have encountered a defect in workmanship or materials, please contact TukTuk via email at info@tuktukboards.com, and include a few pictures of the issue.  If the issue is determined to be covered under our manufacturer’s warranty, we will contact you with the address of a local TukTuk authorized repair center, or if one is unavailable, we will contact you and provide instructions on how to ship the board back to TukTuk.
